Body Glass Replacement

Body glass refers to all other windows in your vehicle. These rear and side windows are made from tempered glass* which is different to the glass used for your windscreen and will break differently. These windows will shatter into small glass fragments. For this reason, you cannot repair a chip in rear or side window of your vehicle, the glass will need to be replaced.

Front and Rear door glass
Pretty self explanitory, The front and rear door glass is the pane of sliding glass in the side doors of your vehicle. Replacement of door glass can take up to 90 minutes. Your vehicle will be driveable immediately after the replacement. We will follow this process when replacing your door glass.
  • Remove door panels
  • Clean out accessible broken glass
  • Fit new window
  • Check the window is functioning
  • Replace door panels
It is important that you do not try to open or close a broken window as this may damage the mechanisms wihtin the door.

Side and Rear Fixed Windows
Fixed windows include the rear window, Front vent, Rear Vent, Quarter glass and Cargo glass in your vehicle. Replacement of a fixed window can take up to 90 minutes. You will be able to drive your vehicle 1 hour after the work has been completed.

  • Refit all parts and features
